All press release templates and Key Messages & FAQ have been updated with links, press images, and more.
Updated Asset Download Links
As some of you are aware, our asset download links have ‘required permission’ before you can access them. We have been working behind the scenes to update all of these. For the most part, they should all work properly on this site. If for whatever reason things are still not working, please let us know.
UPDATED ASSETS FOR 2019!
Happy New Year!
And with this new year comes new branding!
As the Wizarding World™ continues to grow the branding for Harry Potter™ has been updated by Warner Bros. Studios. CineConcerts has revised all of our key art templates and video assets for the Harry Potter Film Concert Series to reflect these changes!
These changes include:
· The removal of the “From J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World” line on the HP logos
· The addition of the new Wizarding World Logo
· A revised legal line
The new Wizarding World logo acts as a watermark around the world to let Potter fans know that a product or concert is official as well as offer them an instant kite-mark of quality and reliability.
This logo is not present on the particularly small banner ad templates but should be present on all larger marketing materials and press releases (which have all been recently updated for 2019). If the WW logo is not present on an asset due to the small size there is an alternate legal line for use on this item.
The ship year on all key art and all video has been updated to (s19) for the new year for your convenience! To assist in this transition, CineConcerts will be accepting marketing materials and press releases utilizing the old templates until Friday, February 1st. But we highly encourage all of our partners to begin using the new branding as soon as possible.
Please refer to our Style Guides for more detail on the new branding layouts. Please contact your CineConcerts Marketing Partner if you have any questions! For publicity questions please query Molly Kossoff (mkossoff@cineconcerts.com) and Andrew Alderete (andrew@cineconcerts.com)

NEW: Behind-the-Scenes Symphony Promo Video!
The Nashville Public Television Arts Connection has created a new behind-the-scenes promo video to showcase the outstanding work of the Nashville Symphony in presenting Harry Potter™ in Concert.
The video, part of the NPT's weekly Arts Break segment, centers on the film concerts at the local Schermerhorn Symphony Center, with special emphasis on Harry Potter. It combines interview footage from CineConcerts founder and head conductor Justin Freer with video of the musicians rehearsing and performing the music of the Harry Potter films. For viewers, it's a sneak peek into the mechanics of building a film concert, as well as a celebration of the live music experience.
If you would like to produce a similar video, or collaborate with local press to do so, please reach out to Andrew P. Alderete and Molly Kossoff.
[Example] Harry Potter in Concert Promo Video!
We're pleased to share a promo video created by one of our partners, presenter Musikkens Hus. Headquartered in Denmark, Musikkens Hus has performed Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in Concert throughout Scandinavia, with upcoming concerts of the first and second film in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
To communicate the unique fan experience provided by Harry Potter in Concert, Musikkens Hus combined footage from their own Harry Potter film concerts with interviews/testimonials of fans of varied demographics. The result is a heartwarming and inspiring video that really evokes the magic of Harry Potter in Concert - not to mention a tactic that we believe to be beneficial for all our partners! If you would like to create a video similar to this one, please reach out. We would love to see more of these creative ventures!
As a reminder, please be aware that all marketing materials mentioning Harry Potter do need to be vetted by us internally as well as by Warner Bros. Promotional videos such as this one will need to be submitted through our portal and will need to conform to our usual guidelines.
New: PR Templates & Approval Times
Hello everyone - in our process of templatizing everything for faster approval time(s) from WB/TBP, I wanted to let you know of some new additions into the PR toolkit - updated press release templates!
These templates can be accessible in the Publicity section of this site by clicking on the appropriate film thumbnail. I would also like to note that the approval times as a result of these templates are significantly shorter, with a maximum approval time of 5 days (sometimes only a few days).
CineConcerts Vimeo Page!
Hello everyone - CineConcerts is now on Vimeo. As a result, there are new embed links and trailer URL's for all the Harry Potter shows. This comes in handy if you want to send just a standard show trailer out to press and/or b-roll. We also have a YouTube page with trailers, but that will be slowly discontinued over the next year.
The Approval(s) Process Reminder
Hello everyone - as we have all grown to love and understand the approval process, we are working very hard to streamline this and make all assets submitted quicker to approve. That being said, we are working hard on expanding our templates to help with this, but they are currently being worked on with Warner Bros. As a result, this is just a reminder about any asset approval.
Asset Approval: Any and all marketing materials (including social media posts, lobby engagement/activities and giveaways/promotions) related to this concert must receive approval by CineConcerts and Warner Bros before being released to production or made live, no exceptions.
Assets should be submitted via https://hpassets.com/submission-form (link above). All assets must be submitted in PDF, JPG, MP3, GIF or MOV files. All other formats will not be accepted. Please make sure all files are high resolution so all text is legible.
Please note that Warner Bros. requires 10-14 business days for all approvals. We encourage you to submit your materials even earlier than that as required revisions add another 5 business days.
Press release approval takes the same amount of time, so the sooner the press release gets to Andrew the better.
